Location based computing

An old cliche "Imagine a technology which will provide you the information by just one click" which is still leading us to new technologies, one such upcoming technology is what we are going to look into for the next few minutes.

When computers know where exactly is the object located then searching the object is a methodology which we are familiar with, this is exactly what Location based computing is.
In future, you have to just use your cell phone to take a snap of the object and hence you have the complete details of the object that you are looking at. I believe we have already stepped into the future with the Google's Goggles, Don't you think so ?

My own web browser - Choosing a language

I thought of writing a web browser and use it for myself. The funny part was in taking a decision of which language/script ?? am I gonna choose to write one. This pulled me more in depth and forced me to do a research on the languages which might be of some help for the task. Here I put down some of my findings.
The most important of all while writing a web browser is to have the fastest browser...(
of-course I do not like a browser which makes me wait for a long time to perform a task:-) ... in this aspect the language which I am biased to, got ruled out- JAVA. I believe there might be people out in the world who might be like me to fit in JAVA to most of there applications (opps!! now that Oracle have acquired SUN, have to wait and see how & where the JAVA goes).
There are so many languages which can now take part in the development C, C++, C#, Ruby, Javascript,VisualBasic .. the list goes on..(
..you know what I just know the name of these languages :-) . If I start digging into these languages, it might take even ages for me to decide a language to write the browser. This is what I thought next "let me just blindly choose a language and start writing the browser with it", so I decided on a language "JAVASCRIPT"..(..it is just because this language also has JAVA in its name :-) . This browser should be purely written in javascript so that one can even add this into there website and provide their visitors a chance to browse the web and "STAY" in their website.
............to be continued.
